The Rendezvous with Madness Festival (RWM) is the first and largest mental health festival in the world. The festival presents local, national and international work exploring themes of mental health and addiction issues.

RWM is a multidisciplinary event that includes visual art, performance, music, theatre and dance in addition to its core emphasis on media arts, panel discussions and in-conversation events.

We are thrilled to announce the full programming line-up for the 27th annual Rendezvous With Madness Festival. Opening on World Mental Health Day, the Festival runs October 10 – 20, 2019 and showcases 14 feature films from around the globe, 4 live performance pieces, a visual and media arts exhibition, and the addition of a new event, Laughter vs. The Universe – a one night only comedy showcase designed to remind us that sometimes laughter truly is the best medicine.

#GetMad: Join the Conversation

This year’s theme is #GetMad – a call to action, reminding us that sharing stories is a powerful tool against isolation, stigma and discrimination.

#GetMad about stigma and discrimination
#GetMad and take action on injustice
#GetMad and share your story of resilience
