We kindly invite you to join us in celebrating the 25th Anniversary of our BEING SCENE exhibition. Over the last 25 years, our community of artists with lived experience has been resilient in the face of many challenges and barriers, and continue to do so today.
This Artist Panel presents artists Brandon Wulff, Ghazaraza, Serena McCarroll, and V Vallières, in conversation about their artworks in this year’s Being Scene, and the history of the exhibition since its first iteration.
The panel will be moderated by long standing artist member Jan Swinburne, (who assisted in organizing the first edition of Being Scene), alongside Julian Diego (Artistic Director) and Fatma Hendawy (Visual Arts Manager).
Attendees who are current Workman Arts members are welcome to share their stories during the last 15 minutes of this event. We will also supply paper, markers, pens/pencils to those who want to leave notes or prefer to participate in writing.
