We’re excited to co-present with the 32nd Images Festival the Opening Night screening of “Software Garden” by Rory Pilgrim on Thursday, April 11 at The Royal Cinema. Nurtured over 2 years of collaboration, workshops, and live concerts, “Software Garden” asks how we meet from both behind and beyond our screens. This work is a 11-track music video album that cultivates influences of pop, electronic and techno with choral and lush string arrangements. It is narrated by poet and disability advocate Carol R. Kallend from Sheffield, England. Her poetry reflects on her desire to have a robotic companion.
Preceded by shorts by Marnie Ellen Hertzler and by Andrés Baron.
