OAC Exhibition Assistance Grants

Ontario Arts Council Logo

Workman Arts is a recommender for the Ontario Arts Council’s (OAC) Exhibition Assistance Grants, a program which provides funding for presentation costs for confirmed exhibitions to artists living in Ontario. The minimum grant awarded is $500 and the maximum is $2,000.

Recommenders are given the responsibility to choose the recipients for the grants (rather than an OAC jury).

We prioritize the allocation of funds to projects by creator(s) with lived experience of mental health/addiction and/or Deaf artists and artists with disabilities. This program is open to applications from Workman Arts members and non-members, as per the guidelines of the program.

Our deadlines for the 2021-22 programming year are: July 26, 2021, 1 pm ET and January 10, 2022. 1 PM ET.

All applications for Exhibition Assistance Grants must be submitted through the OAC’s online granting portal, Nova, and not directly to Workman Arts.

For further information on application requirements, including eligibility information, please visit the OAC website.
