ANCESTRAL MINDSCAPES. This exhibition has artist Rick Miller returning to his homeland in the Gaspé region of Québec, one of Canada’s poorest, but most beautiful landscapes, to explore the intersection of madness, indigeneity, colonialism, environmental destruction and the healing power of nature.

Ancestral Mindscapes is a collaboration between Rick Miller, who self-identifies as Mad and Métis; Jules Kootstachin, a Cree artist and storyteller; and Geneviève Thibault, a Gaspésienne photographer.

For more information contact Visual Arts Coordinator, Paulina Wiszowata.
