Facilitator

Lisa Anita Wegner is a MAD and disabled Toronto-based public artist. In 2008 Lisa had a complete mental and physical breakdown from complex Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome which led to the loss of her studio and workspace. Since then, she’s been continually figuring out ways to thrive from home and continue her art practice in a small space in small bites. Lisa now considers 2008 an important year that made her into the artist she is. As well as offering a listening ear for participants, Lisa will share some of the things she’s done to keep creativity alive while being at home, and how Lisa uses check-ins with her creative team to keep them authentically connected while running projects.
