This policy, effective as of September 20, 2021 is for the general membership at Workman Arts. Instructors, Peer Supports and members employed and contracted by Workman Arts should reference the COVID-19 Policy for staff and volunteers.
Recently CAMH has updated its vaccine policy to align with the Government of Ontario’s directive to require CAMH staff, physicians, learners and volunteers to provide proof of double vaccination or proof of a negative COVID-19 antigen test done within 24 hours before arrival to be allowed entry into the hospital. Workman Arts is located within CAMH and therefore our vaccination policies will follow the government’s directive.
Members wishing to access Workman Arts’ space within CAMH must show proof of vaccination or proof of a negative COVID test to the screeners at the CAMH entrance. CAMH and Workman Arts remain a mandatory mask space regardless of vaccine status.
For vaccinated members:
You can access your vaccination records at https://covid19.ontariohealth.ca/. Please download and save records of your first and second dose. At the screening station, you can show either a printed copy or a digital copy on your device. You must have received the second dose 14 days prior to accessing Workman Arts.
For unvaccinated members or members with one dose of the vaccine:
You can access information about booking an antigen test here: https://covid-19.ontario.ca/antigen-testing-services-directory. You will show either a printed copy or a digital copy of the negative COVID test on your device at the screening station.
Many of these services charge for testing. Please note that we are working to secure free at-home rapid antigen tests for members and will let you know if/when we are able to secure free testing.
Members requesting a vaccine exemption should contact Membership and Hospital Programs Manager Raine Laurent-Eugene at raine_laurenteugene@workmanarts.com to discuss their request.
